Orthodontist Dr. Nathan Nourian offers metal braces, ceramic braces, Invisalign and other clear aligners for children, teens and adults, in the same Los Angeles office where your family gets its everyday dental care.
MEET YOUR ORTHODONTIST
Dr. Nourian earned his DDS from the USC Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry and completed a two-year residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the Georgia School of Orthodontics. He is board-eligible with the American Association of Orthodontists and a member of the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists.
Because orthodontics and general dentistry share one office here, your cleanings, checkups and orthodontic adjustments can often be scheduled in the same visit. Dr. Nourian speaks English, Spanish and Farsi, and every new orthodontic patient starts with a free, no-obligation consultation.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Answers to questions Los Angeles families often ask before starting orthodontic treatment.
Braces are available for as low as $87 per month. Your total cost depends on the type of appliance, how complex your case is and your insurance benefits. At your free consultation, Dr. Nourian reviews your treatment plan and costs before you decide anything.
Start with a free consultation, where Dr. Nourian examines your teeth and bite and explains which options can realistically reach your goals. Braces often suit more complex tooth movements, while aligners may work well for many mild to moderate cases when worn as directed. Your daily routine, appearance preferences and budget matter too.
Many children benefit from an orthodontic evaluation around age 7. Most won't need treatment right away, but Dr. Nourian can spot jaw growth or bite issues that early (Phase 1) treatment, typically between ages 7 and 10, may help address. Teens and adults with healthy teeth and gums can often be treated too.
Mild soreness is common for a few days after braces are placed or adjusted, or when you switch to a new set of aligners. It usually fades as your teeth settle. Soft foods and over-the-counter pain relievers, used as directed, can help in the meantime.
Often, yes. General dentistry and orthodontics are coordinated in our Los Angeles office, so cleanings and orthodontic adjustments can frequently be booked in the same visit. That means fewer trips, and your dental and orthodontic care are planned together.
Some PPO plans include orthodontic benefits. We accept most major PPO plans, verify your benefits and file claims for you. We do not accept Denti-Cal/Medi-Cal, but financing through CareCredit, Sunbit and Cherry, plus in-house payment plans for qualifying treatment, can help spread out the cost.
Meet Dr. Nourian, have your teeth and bite evaluated, and learn which options fit your goals and budget. There's no obligation to start treatment.
