Have a question before your visit? Here are straightforward answers about scheduling, insurance, payment, emergencies, orthodontics, and children's care at our Los Angeles office.
APPOINTMENTS & EVERYDAY CARE
Call our office at (213) 731-2210 during business hours, or use the Request Appointment button to send us your preferred days and times. Many patients book checkups about every six months, while patients managing gum disease may need more frequent visits. If you need to reschedule, please call as early as you can.
A first visit for a young child is usually short and relaxed. We gently check the teeth and gums, talk with parents about brushing, snacks, and teething, and help your child get comfortable in the chair. It's generally a good idea to schedule around the first birthday or soon after the first tooth appears; learn more about our children's dentistry.
We use low-radiation digital X-rays, an intraoral camera so you can see what the dentist sees, and digital scans in place of many traditional impressions. When more detail is needed, such as for implant or orthodontic planning, 3D cone beam CT imaging may be used. Our CEREC system also lets many crowns be designed, milled, and placed in one visit.
Dr. Ghadoushi and Dr. Nourian both speak English, Spanish, and Farsi, and our team includes Spanish- and Farsi-speaking staff. Let us know your preferred language when you schedule so we can help your visit go smoothly.
Yes. We're open Saturdays from 9am to 3pm, and on Mondays we stay open until 7pm. Our other hours are Tuesday through Thursday 9am–6pm and Friday 8am–5pm; we're closed on Sundays.
Call our office as soon as possible. We set aside time each day for emergencies and offer same-day appointments when possible. For first-aid steps, see our dental emergency page. If you have trouble breathing or swallowing, uncontrolled bleeding, or a serious injury, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
ORTHODONTIC QUESTIONS
Depending on your needs, options may include metal braces, ceramic braces, and Invisalign or other clear aligners. Dr. Nourian also treats adults and offers early (Phase 1) treatment for children around ages 7 to 10. Braces are available from $87/month, and total cost depends on your treatment plan.
Yes. Dr. Nourian offers a free, no-obligation orthodontic consultation for children, teens, and adults. He'll evaluate your bite and alignment, explain whether treatment is recommended, and review options, timing, and estimated costs so you can decide without pressure.
